Local and family-owned for over 35 years

Thirty-five years of plumbing and gas work in the towns that sit on the Chesapeake.

Chesapeake Plumbing, Inc has been the plumbing and gas contractor people in Pasadena, Anne Arundel County and the surrounding areas call first for more than three decades. We are local and family-owned, which mostly means something simple: the same company that fixed a leak here in the 1990s is still the one a homeowner's grown children call today. That kind of continuity teaches you a place. Waterfront cottages near the bay, older homes on well and septic further inland, busy commercial kitchens that cannot afford a day of downtime, new construction going up on land that used to be farmland. Each one asks for something slightly different, and we have had the time here to learn what that difference actually is.

We work both sides of the trade, residential and commercial, rather than choosing one and treating the other as an afterthought. A homeowner scheduling a water heater replacement gets the same crew, the same standards and the same warranty coverage as a restaurant getting a backflow device tested before an inspection. Every technician who drives one of our vans is licensed, insured and backflow certified, and every job runs on the same three priorities in the same order: quality, cleanliness and safety. A repair that looks tidy and finishes fast is worth very little if it does not hold.

Every technician, not just the specialist

Backflow certified across the whole team, not just one truck.

A backflow device stops contaminated water from siphoning back into the clean supply it is protecting, and most irrigation systems, boilers, and commercial kitchens are required to have theirs tested on a schedule. Plenty of plumbing companies keep that certification with one or two people and route every backflow call through them. We certified the whole team instead, so whoever answers your call is qualified to do the test, not just qualified to schedule someone who is.

The same goes for licensing and insurance. Every technician who steps onto a property, residential or commercial, carries both, and every job is run with a focus on quality, cleanliness and safety, in that order. That is not a slogan we printed on the trucks. It is the standard the work gets measured against before we consider a job finished.

How the work is backed

The warranty depends on what we touched, not a blanket promise.

A washer and a buried sewer line do not carry the same risk, so they do not carry the same coverage. Here is exactly what applies, by the kind of work involved.

Manufacturer warranties are honored on top of the workmanship cover below for eligible fixtures and equipment. Every estimate is free and comes back within two business days.

30 days
workmanship on standard service repairs
One year
workmanship on remodeling and contract work
Five years
workmanship on underground sewer and water line installations

Military, Senior, and First Responder Discounts

Military, senior and first responder discounts apply on service work. Mention it when you schedule and it is applied to the invoice.

Where the credentials come from

Membership isn't decoration. It's who checks our work.

Member of the Maryland Plumbing, Heating, and Cooling Contractors Association (PHCC). Maryland State Plumbing Board Member. Both hold us to standards beyond what a customer can see from a finished job, which is exactly the point of belonging to them. We also install and stand behind the fixtures and equipment made by the brands homeowners and contractors already trust.
